Uthen Pattana School

Uthen Pattana School is located near the city of Nakhon Phanom, which is situated alongside the Mekong River. This rural school is surrounded by rice paddies and the mountains of Laos provide a backdrop as you drive the roads from the school to the students' homes. Many families work in the rice paddies and raise a cow or chickens at their dwellings.

 

AWC members visited the nine girls we sponsor at this school in June 2023. The girls were particularly excited to show us their school, practice their English with us and thank us for their scholarships.
